From the BMC Toys CLASSIC TOY SOLDIER COLLECTOR SERIES, firepower against the fort. THE ALAMO MEXICAN ARTILLERY ASSAULT 25 piece plastic army men set features 18 troops in 6 different poses. 4 horses, and 3 naval cannon. Powder-blue color troops include artillery crews, mounted, wounded, and seated stand up to 2.375 inches tall. Features 4 different brown color riding horses and black color 12lb cannon that measure 1 inch x 1 inch x 3.28 inches long. Figures are made from soft plastic and cannon are stiff ABS plastic with medium detail, very little flashing, and all pieces are approximately 1:32 scale. These pieces were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company in the 1990s. The figures were inspired by those in the famous Alamo playsets offered by Louis Marx and Company in the 1950s and 1960s. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make them available to today's youngsters. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets in the classic realistic style of the 1950s and 1960s. Instructions: With adult supervision, dip any bent part in hot water, then cold water to straighten. These figures are a perfect addition to any Alamo or Napoleonic Era playset or school project diorama. Packaged in clear bag with header card and recommended for ages 5 and up.
