BMC Toys Production Roundup: January 2026

Posted by Jeff Imel on

BMC Toys - Classic Toy Soldiers Collection:
Restocks just arrived and I'm working on 2026 production orders.

BMC Toys - American Hero Collection:
Restocks just arrived but a couple of items will be out of stock until Spring.

BMC Toys - Classic Army Men Collection:
The new 32pc OD Green and Blue versions Louis Marx & Co. Military Base Accessories and the 11pc HQ accessory packs are available. I was unable to get the box art for the Fort Ticonderoga and Pacific Theater sets ready in time for Christmas. The 1:40 scale western figure molds need some more work than expected so production is delayed.

  • Please, we need more MARX WWII figures and accessories, especially German troops, because MPC’s German poses are extremely wooden, and they look like 2D figures. Thank you.

  • I would love to see more civil war playsets, maybe even a “Starter pack” would be cool, perhaps even a flag, tents, soldiers, and accessories could be included. I know me and others would spend a fortune on civil war sets.

  • Again, I would love more made in American sets . However I love the idea of more Westerners, Napoleonic soldiers, and it would be interesting if they had a World War I toy soldiers. However, I prefer you guys resurrecting more Marx toy soldiers than anything.

  • If the women soldiers have sold well, consider a set of Western Women and Children. You could include american, native, mexican, ranch folk, city folk, dressed up southern belles, saloon workers, outlaws, wagon train folk

  • Questions from the peanut gallery: In the future, will we see reverse civil war colors? centennial reissues? or maybe the Burnside bridge/ Tent set? I’m looking forward to the contents of the Bull Run playset being revealed and the possibility of South Korean troops being made. Thank you.
