BMC Toys is going to produce a set of Plastic Army Women figures within the next year. Before we get into the details, I should recap for folks who just learned about the project from the 'On the Road With Steve Hartman' story from tonight's CBS Evening News. Here's the story so far: I've been kicking around the idea for a set of...

BMC Toys: Plastic Army Women Project: Update #1

Pre-Order now to receive your set of Plastic Army Women as soon as they are available in Fall 2020. Your Credit Card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship.     Here's a long overdue update on the BMC Toys Plastic Army Women Project idea I posted last year. Here's a summary of what's going on with current BMC Toys production: The container with restocks of D-Day Playsets and other popular items from the American Heroes Collection is in California and scheduled to arrive at our warehouse within the next couple of weeks. The US government has plans to add 25% tariffs...

BMC Toys: Classic Radar Love

I've been working hard to expand the line of BMC Toys Classic Army Men products this year. The latest additions are the Louis Marx & Co. WW2 US Soldiers that include Marines, Seated Marines, Paratroopers, and large Raft with Oarsmen in 5 different colors. The good news is they look fantastic, the bad news is they're taking longer to complete production than anticipated. I'd planned to have all the new recruits ready in April, but now it's looking like we're into mid to late May, although some will start trickling into Amazon sooner: Since the current production is wrapping up...
