BMC Toys - American Hero Collection:
The D-Day bagged figure sets and other restocks have arrived. Note the new stock of BMC-40024 D-Day figures are soft LDPE plastic instead of stiff Polypropylene. This will be a rolling change for any items that include the D-Day figures over the coming year. The Iwo Jima figures will also be making the switch to LDPE starting later next year. More restocks and the new Gettysburg bagged sets are estimated to arrive around early October. The new Gettysburg set is a Powder-Blue & Charcoal-Gray color variant of the Appomattox set.

Prototypes for the Revolutionary War Yorktown Playset revival are ready for mold making. A last minute addition is a harness strap to hitch the cart to a CTS wagon horse. The square redoubt will match material, color and texture of the CTS redoubt:

For a 2025 project I'm considering a BMC Alamo chapel revival along with the 'Come and Take It' cannon.

BMC Toys - Classic Army Men Collection:
Restock production is in progress with next shipment estimated to arrive around end of August. The MPC house mold is currently in the shop for some repairs and improvements. There are small posts in the floor that matched the base holes in the MPC figures of the era. The posts are being removed to make it a more universal accessory. Originally this piece was offered with a variety of different facades that made it a log cabin, western town building, or firehouse. The most recent configuration was 2 of the houses put together to make a long bunkhouse:

  • Since the French only landed a few paratroopers and 144 commandos on GOLD Beach… I’m just going to use the Italian commando Troops. Like the color and cool poses.

  • Do you have any plans to add any French soldiers from WW2, and doing a new set of poses for the Soviets? I am planning on picking up some Italians soon.

  • Please add me to your mailings lists, all of your lisys. I am especially interested in the Spanish American War and any of the many British Colonial Wars. Ditto for any of the Indian Wars in the Old West.
    Thanks
