BMC Toys Production Roundup: 2024

Chicagoland Toy Soldier Show:

BMC Toys - Classic Toy Soldiers Collection:
The new CTS boxed sets and Alamo Cavalry will be available by late September:

• BMC-67375 CTS WW2 Battle of the Bulge Playset
• BMC-67377 CTS  WW2 Battle of Saipan Playset
• BMC-67242 CTS Alamo Heavy Cavalry Figure Set Powder Blue
• BMC-67239 CTS Alamo Light Cavalry Figure Set Powder Blue
• BMC-67386 CTS Civil War Battle of Atlanta Playset
• BMC-67385 CTS Civil War Pickets Charge Playset

The next batch of CTS restocks are estimated to arrive around early December. Possible new items for 2025 may include red & blue Waterloo branded versions of the Alamo Heavy Cavalry and Alamo Mexican Artillery, and a small Louis Marx & Co. style western fort. Classic Toy Soldiers made both inside and outside corner fort wall molds with some nice upgrades from the originals. A new gate mold will need to be made. Other CTS molds that have not been reissued yet include Romans, Medieval Horses, and Louis Marx & Co. reproduction rustic flag pole. Molds that are still missing include Ancient Carthaginians, German Stug tank and side armor. I'm waiting on a final inventory and audit from the factory to confirm the missing molds were definitely lost in the last factory move before making any plans about these pieces.

BMC Toys - American Hero Collection:
The new Gettysburg bagged set and other restocks will be arriving by late September. It's a Powder Blue / Charcoal Gray color variant of the Appomattox bagged set.

The Revolutionary War Yorktown and Bunker Hill Playset contents are close to being finalized. The molds are currently being made and sample figures are expected in early October. We may add bases to the current Yorktown kneeling musketeers. I think these are the final contents for the big Yorktown set:

BMC Toys - Classic Army Men Collection:
Restock production is in progress with next shipment estimated to arrive around end of September. Production has been ordered for the MPC Revolutionary War Fort Ticonderoga set. It will include the fort, red & blue figures, MPC Naval Cannon, and 3 Tim Mee Toy Flagpoles. A new flag sticker sheet will include British, Betsy Ross, and Gadsen flags. It's uncertain if the box will be a plain shipping carton or printed retail box. These should be available around late 2024 or early 2025. Here's some flag and bucket label sticker art:

BMC Toys - Plastic Army Women Collection:
Production is ongoing with restocks and the new support packs estimated to arrive around end of September. The new white variant should be available by late October:
