Where the heck is that is new batch of BMC? Well, as of right now it's in Cleveland. The container arrived in C-Town by train yesterday and is waiting for a truck to deliver to our warehouse in Akron next week. I know, it seems like it's taking forever, but we're in the home stretch now. Another milestone is all the BMCToys.com product photos and descriptions have been updated. The new batch of BMC Toys is almost here, current estimate is some time later next week.  Right now they're on the container ship Maersk Algol that has just docked in California. Next the container will be loaded on a train for the trip to Cleveland, Ohio, then trucked to our warehouse in Akron.  To tide you over here's some more pictures from the recent production. The new batch of BMC Toys should be in stock within the next couple of weeks. This is the first production since I purchased BMC Toys from the family of Bill McMaster following his untimely passing in late 2014. The new production was overseen by Bill's 25+ year business partner, Thomas Leung, and manufactured in the same factory that has been producing the line for over 20 years. The new production of BMC Toys is complete and about to ship (literally on a ship). Current estimate of arrival at our warehouse is September 3rd. According to my calculations, this order includes 335,736 figures and 5,872 vehicles. That's a lot of soldiers! Here's the shipping container getting loaded:   

The new BMC Toys production is complete and about to be loaded on a boat. Current estimate for availability is very early September. Production took a few extra days to complete, and one of the reasons why is all the assembly work that's required for the Marines raising the flag on Iwo Jima.
